Yoshio Hamano In-Home Cocnert

All of us with the International Russian Music Piano Competition would like to extend to you and your families our warmest wishes for the holiday season and for a happy and healthy year to come.

A year also filled with the sound of beautiful music.  So, to start it off on a high note, on Sat., Jan. 28, we’re having an in-home concert at Dan and Irina's place featuring our 2011 Silver Medalist, Yoshio Hamano.

Yoshio is a prize winner in other international piano competitions as well including, most recently, the prestigious Music Competition of Japan, at which he won the Gold Medal and performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.

Yoshio is co-founder of Renaissance Projects Worldwide, which organizes concerts for charity.  He has also visited the regions in Japan that were devastated by the earthquake and tsunami to perform free concerts for the survivors.

Those of you who were fortunate enough to get to hear Yoshio perform last June, know just what an extraordinary talent he is and what a great opportunity this is to hear him perform, not on a stage in a theater, but in the intimate setting of Dan and Irina’s own living room.

Wine and hors d'oeuvres (included in the ticket price) will be served from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the concert itself will begin at 8:00 PM. Seating is limited, so we kindly ask that you RSVP at your earliest convenience.

When: Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 PM.

Where: 1434 Montego Drive, San Jose, CA 95120.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your kind and generous support which means everything to us and to the very talented young pianists who participate every year in our competition.  For without you, none of this would be possible.
